Running from May until December each year, this is the perfect opportuity for Ladies to learn to play golf in a fun group environment. With 12 sessions of coaching from our PGA Head Professional Stephen Speller taking place during this time. Also included is Social Membership of Camberley Heath Golf Club and ultimately, once proficient you will have access to playing the golf course. After completion of the Academy, full membership of the Club will be available. Anyone taking up full membership after attending the Academy will not be charged the joining fee that usually applies.
Session 1: The 6 Fundamentals: Aim, Hold, Stance, Posture, Body Aliignment and Ball Position.
Session 2: The 1/2 Swing with an emphasis on ball striking.
Session 3: The 1/2 Swing with an emphasis on clubhead control.
Session 4: The 3/4 Swng with an emphasis on ball striking and clubhead control.
Session 5: Flight and consistent ball striking.
Session 6: Short Game including Bunker Play and Chipping.
Session 7: Putting.
Session 8: On to the course for the first time playing 3 holes. with an introduction to Etiquette.
Session 9: Correction session
Session 10: On to the course to play 6 holes with emphasis on Course Management.
Session 11: Short Game Correction session
Session 12: On to the Course to play 9 holes and a mini tournament.
Please note that both the Pupils and coach may change the structure and its content if they feel it is appropriate.

Hosted by our Head Professional Stephen Speller prospective members will be taken through the Academy Membership, its content, shown around the club and its facilities and then be given an opportunity (if requested) to hit some golf balls on the practice ground.
