JOIN US TO PLAY WITH A FRIENDLY TEAM
Camberley Heath is a Harry Colt designed course established in 1913 and is one of the top 100 clubs in England.
Proud to have had a woman as Club Captain, as Chair of the Board and currently as the Club President, we are a firm supporter of Women’s Golf and are delighted to have been awarded the R&A Women in Golf Charter.
Our Women’s Section provides great opportunities to golfers of all ages, stages and abilities in a friendly and welcoming environment. We love golf as well as the social opportunities this provides. We actively support the club’s social programme which includes themed dinners, quiz nights, and fun golf competitions.
We play every Tuesday morning with a full diary of Medals, Stablefords and Fun Competitions. Most of these are set up as Alternate Day competitions to cater for those golfers who can only play at weekends which ensures that all our members have equal opportunity to take part. We have three sets of tees: silver, yellow, green (summer) and orange (winter), with slope ratings from 127 to 147.
Our members play in scratch and handicap Surrey Women’s Golf Competitions including the Hicks, Pearson, Wallis, Centenary Bowl and Derry as well as other interclub competitions.
We also have a lively programme of Swap Days and friendly competitions with local clubs which are always well supported by the Section. We actively take part in Mixed events both at Camberley Heath and away at other Golf Clubs. There really is something for everyone should you wish to be involved!
We have great Professionals who offer coaching to golfers of all abilities both on the Practice Ground and on the course, or even in our Swing Studio. If you are new to the game or returning after many years, then our revamped Academy can offer lessons, and the chance to build new friendships.
Whether you are an experienced golfer or completely new to this wonderful game, Camberley Heath is an ideal place to be so if you are interested in joining us to enjoy golf with a friendly group of women of all ages and abilities, please call the office on 01276 23258.
